  Not a great experience unfortunately. First they didn't have our booking noted and then put us in an isolated area. We were able to move tables but the food took about 1.5hrs and was very average. We ate it because we were starving and when we came to leave they couldn't find our order and gave us the wrong bill. This place has so much potential but needs to turn up the notch on the food quality, service and management. I don't think we will be coming back.

  Our extended family had a marvellous Mothers Day last Sunday at Hainault winery. It was our first visit. Friendly, welcoming service in a beautiful location. We put a blanket down on the grass by our table for the kids and they loved it. It's a small family winery, so you shouldn't expect fast-food service; it's a place to linger and enjoy. There's a sensible limited menu, and the food was beautifully presented and enjoyable. Plus great wine.

  Waited 45 min for service then had to find our own menus and flag down a waiter. Waited then another hour for some watery soup for our entre. Mains took another hour and alot of asking ... not worth the wait as the pies may as well have been horse meat.. they ran out of chips so replaced them without asking with some limp heated up capsicum.. the shared platter was dried up meat with mouldy strawberries, meatballa that tasted like sawdust and limp lettuce. Very disappointing and when we informed the waiter we had the cook (clearly not a chef) come out to argue with us.
